"...it's the one stop shop for anyone planning an off-the-beaten-track travel adventure.
The show is packed with inspiration
and travel advice that will help you to uncover the journey of a lifetime,
from small group adventures, wildlife encounters, trekking, family
adventures, career breaks, safaris, overland expeditions, volunteering, gap
years and much more."
For full details of all the events go to
www.AdventureShow.com or contact the organisers directly on
0871 230 7159 (Calls charged at national rate.)
We'll have an update on some our tried and tested trips and simple safari modules and short breaks that include traditional venues and circuits (Victoria Falls, Cape Town, the Okavango, the Serengeti). We'll be on hand to discuss some exciting new developments and specials on offer from Wilderness Safaris.
Zambia is still southern Africa's number one safari destination - we have some very special ideas for lower Zambezi canoe safaris and our walking safaris which offer a simple combination of both the Luangwa and Zambezi valleys.
We have a fresh selection of safaris using small seasonal bush camps and lodges located in off the beaten path spots including the Moremi, Selinda, the Kalahari, Makgadikgadi Pans, Mana Pools, Matusadona, the upper and lower Zambezi, Kafue, North and South Luangwa valley, Mahale, Katavi, Ruaha, Selous and northern Kenya. We have some really exciting developments happening in Tanzania and Kenya - make an appointment with Fi, Mark or John.
Once again we'll be hosting a few privately guided photographic and specialist safaris in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, Malawi, Congo, Central African Republic, Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda between May and October. Space is always limited on these trips so please make appointments with Mark or John

Join us on Saturday 28
January from 12:00 to 12:45.
John is hosting a presentation and discussion on "How to Plan an
African Safari".
Here's the PR stuff:
"Where, why and when for first-timers” plus tips and ideas for old
hands on how to uncover some of Africa’s secret places.
In East Africa a general overview of Tanzania and Kenya. The annual
wildebeest migration is explained with some advice on best timing and how to
combine a migration safari with other wildlife spots and the East African
coast.
In Southern Africa, where we have great diversity, excellent wildlife and a
broad range of safari options to suit all tastes and budgets, this journey
through the seasons takes us through Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe,
South Africa and Mozambique.
The discussion continues with suggestions and tips on how seasoned
travellers might satisfy specific interests in birding, primates, big game,
history and culture and more. So whether you’re looking for something active
or sedate, mainstream or unusual, this is a presentation not to be missed."
Also on Sunday
29 January from 10:30 to 11:15 - "Rediscovering Zimbabwe".
"With travel warnings lifted, doors open to media and travellers welcome as always, John Berry presents a case for visiting Zimbabwe - to find out the truth and explore some old and familiar landmarks.
With diverse habitats and outstanding wildlife resources, a conservation record seconds to none, and training ground to Africa's top professional guides - change is coming and 2012 is the year to rediscover Zimbabwe, you'll be welcomed by resilient people with warm smiles."
Here's a worthwhile article in the meantime - "A
safari in Zimbabwe - value for money??"
Lively presentations - not to be missed! [Advance
bookings are recommended]
