This is Britain’s favourite live Holiday and Travel Show.
There'll be plenty to keep you entertained at Destinations 2011 with food,
drink, dancing and demonstrations of cultures from all corners of the globe.

With performances on the World Entertainment Stage and nine Destinations Sensations stages around the show, you won't be far away from a cultural experience.
For full details of all the events go to www.destinationsshow.com or contact the organisers directly on 08701 660434 (Calls charged at national rate. Booking fee applies if you order online from the organiser's site.)
We'll have an update on some our tried and tested trips and simple safari modules and short breaks that include traditional venues and circuits (Victoria Falls, Cape Town, the Okavango, the Serengeti). We'll be on hand to discuss some exciting new developments in Victoria Falls.
Zambia is still southern Africa's number one safari destination - we have some very special ideas for lower Zambezi canoe safaris and our walking safaris which offer a simple combination of both the Luangwa and Zambezi valleys.
We have a fresh selection of safaris using small seasonal bush camps and lodges located in off the beaten path spots including the Moremi, Selinda, the Kalahari, Makgadikgadi Pans, Mana Pools, Matusadona, the upper and lower Zambezi, Kafue, North and South Luangwa valley, Mahale, Katavi, Ruaha, Selous and northern Kenya. We have some really exciting developments happening in Tanzania and Kenya - make an appointment with Trish, Jackie or John.
Once again we'll be hosting a few privately guided photographic and specialist safaris in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, Malawi, Gabon, Congo, Central African Republic, Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda between May and October. Space is always limited on these trips so please make appointments with Chris or John
Join us on Friday 4 February in Theatre 2 from 11:00 to 11:30.
John is hosting a presentation and discussion on "Rediscovering Zimbabwe".
Here's the PR stuff:
"With diverse habitats and outstanding wildlife resources, a conservation
record second to none and the home and training ground to Africa’s top
professional guides, Zimbabwe was recognised as one of Africa’s premier
safari destinations in 1999. The country has been dominated by bad politics
for a decade and much has been laid to ruin.
There are signs of change driven by a sense of guarded optimism that
political change is going to happen before long. The economy has turned
visibly in the last year, conservation projects are being revitalised, lodge
owners and safari operators are preparing the ground for recovery in the
next few years.
Questions remain unanswered. How safe is Zimbabwe? How bad is the poaching?
Who really benefits from visitor revenue?
With travel warnings lifted, doors open to the media and travellers welcome
as always John Berry, MD of Zambezi Safari & Travel Company presents a case
for visiting Zimbabwe to find out the truth and explore some old and
familiar landmarks.
If a tour of the traditional safari circuit to include Victoria Falls,
Hwange, Matusadona, Mana Pools or an exploration of some less travelled
spots in the east and south can’t be justified then Zimbabwe’s
conservationists could do with the support.
Change is coming and 2011 is the year to start rediscovering Zimbabwe.
You’ll be welcomed by resilient people with warm smiles."
A lively presentation - not to be missed! [Advance
bookings are recommended]
