Bushbuck - Victoria Falls from an "alternative" photographic view of Victoria Falls by Chris Worden |

|
The Bushbuck (Tragelaphus scriptus) is a shy and
territorial antelope found singly or in pairs in riverine bush and dense
forests throughout Zimbabwe, the Okavango Delta, in Zambia and
Mozambique. They are very widely distributed.
They are generally nocturnal but can often be seen in the early mornings and evenings. In areas where they are undisturbed or partly habituated to man's presence they can be found during the day. Bushbuck rams are known to be very aggressive when wounded or threatened. |
