Nairobi, Amboseli, Tsavo and the Great Rift Valley

The Masai Mara and Maasai Group Ranches

The Mara is Kenya's primary wildlife attraction especially with the annual migration in abundance usually from around July to October. 

The larger eco-system includes the National Reserve plus a much larger expanse of Maasai tribal lands on the Group Ranches.

The Kenyan Coast

Kenya's mainstream coastal haunts have centred around Mombasa in the south - large resorts and loads of visitors on package holidays.  The northern stretches offer world-class sport fishing at Malindi, unspoiled Swahili culture with quiet and outstanding beach breaks in the Lamu Archipelago. Laikipia, Meru and the Northern Frontier District

A massive wild area combining small farming communities, huge private ranches, various community and conservation projects plus large Samburu and Maasai lands.  The Northern Frontier District extends further north to even wilder lands and deserts including some fairly untamed people.
