Best time of the year
- April to November each year when the Okavango is most accessible
- Each season and every year differs in the Okavango
- Best game is from July to November, best birding in the green season from
mid October to April
Best Access
From Maun, Kasane or Victoria Falls by air to the Delta and Kalahari
Tips and notes:
- This safari is easily extended - Victoria Falls is the primary hub from which Chobe and Hwange are accessed. Lusaka and Kariba are easy connections and hubs for Kafue/Luangwa and Matusadona/Mana Pools combinations.
- Access to both camps in Moremi and the Kalahari is by light aircraft - baggage allowances are restricted to 12kg in soft bags, special allowance for additional photographic equipment must be made in advance.
