“Adventure” grade Mobile Camping Safaris
- These
“adventure" grade safaris are designed for those who really enjoy camping
and are ideally suited to couples or singles wanting to join a small group.

- These
safaris are run with a crew of a cook/assistant plus guide, and guests will
be required to assist with setting up and dismantling the camp.
- We make
use of public campsites on these safaris which are available on set-date
departures from Arusha on Sunday mornings.
- We have
two scheduled trips:
- The 6 day
safari, which includes 2 nights at Ngorongoro, 2 nights in the Serengeti and
1 night at Lake Manyara.
- The 14 day
“Migration Hunter” which includes Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Manyara,
north-western Tanzania, Maasai Mara, the Rift Valley in Kenya and Lake
Victoria depending on season. This safari ends in Nairobi.
- This style
of safari may also be booked privately for small groups on any day.

Best time of the year
- These safaris
runs year round.
- The best
time to catch the migration in the southern Serengeti is from around January
to April.
- Best
time for the migration in the north is around June to November.

Tarangire is best in the dry season from June to November.
Best Access
Best access to
Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) from Europe is KLM or with Kenyan Airways or British Airways via Nairobi (NBO).
Alternatives include Ethiopian Airlines, South African Airways and Air Tanzania.
The safari starts and ends at Arusha airport on the western side of town.

- These trips
are ideally suited to combine with a climb up Kilimanjaro - speak to us
about setting this up.
- Prices are
based on minimum of 2 guests sharing and include,
Park and concession Fees, camping fees, pick up from an Arusha hotel.
- Prices
exclude drinks, gratuities, items of a personal nature, insurance, flying doctors &
medical evacuation, airport transfers.
- A night in
Arusha before and after the safari is recommended unless joining another
trip either end which accommodates the early start and late end to the
safari.
- Additional
accommodation, transfers, shuttle, balloon safaris and extensions can be
organised on request.

- Our vehicles
are all maintained in our own fully equipped workshops, and are either
Landcruisers or Landrovers. These are 4WD vehicles with 5-7 seats ensuring
that all clients have a window seat. All have game viewing hatches, and
comfortable seats.
- Our guides
are experienced professionals, all English-speaking Tanzanians who have been
trained to high standards.
- All vehicles
are fully insured and carry all the necessary tools, first aid kits,
reference books and communication equipment for these safaris.
