Pools you will be taken to our first overnight canoe camp at Vundu. After
showing you to your tents a light lunch is served on the banks of the
Zambezi River. Once your luggage has been off-loaded the safari proceeds
to the Ruckomechi river where canoeing commences with a safety briefing.

camp in the late afternoon where they are met with cold drinks followed by
hot showers and a three-course dinner, complete with wine.
Day 2
This begins with either a walk or a game drive, followed by a breakfast of
fruit, yoghurt, cereals, eggs and bacon, toast and marmalade, tea and
coffee. The day's canoeing from Vundu to Chessa Camp (our 2nd canoe camp)
is approximately 17 kilometres, interspersed with occasional stops (or
walks) and a lunch break on an island or on the banks of the Zambezi.
Arriving at Chessa at late in the afternoon you will have time to enjoy a
game-drive before returning to camp to watch the evening sunset and
partake in a 'sundowner' drink around the camp fire.
Day 3
The day begins early with teas/coffees being served with biscuits or rusks.
Guests will have the option of either a walk or game drive before
beginning the last day's canoeing. The canoe leg for day 3 is just over
20kms with lunch being served en route. Guests overnight at Chitembe (the
3rd canoe camp) on the eastern edge of the Mana Pools National Park.
Day 4

this area is excellent, with lion and wild dog both regular sightings.
