The Travel Trust Association (TTA)
As registered member R9717 of the Travel Trust Association
we act as the principal or organiser for "non-air holidays" in compliance
with the EC directive on Package Holidays, published in the United Kingdom
as "SI3288 The Package Holiday, Package Travel, Package Tour Regulations
1992".
The TTA is a Trade Association including over 400 Travel
Agents and Tour Operators in the UK. The association is organised to
regulate its members through a strict Code of Conduct and
provide financial protection to consumers and recognised suppliers of TTA
members.
At the core of the scheme, all client funds received are
held in an independently operated Trust (escrow) Account and backed by fidelity insurance on behalf of all parties until
the services are provided or someone else becomes responsible for the
protection of those funds.
Where we act as an organiser as defined in the Package Travel
Regulations, funds received from the client are released only on
completion of the client's safari. (These safaris exclude air travel
and are non-licensable under the ATOL scheme.)
In cases where we provide flights as a part of your safari you are
protected under the licensable component of our
ATOL T7518.
